Demanding Work
Twenty-four hour shifts, and my shoulders finally forgave me.

We carry weight in awkward positions for hours. I keep a roll-on in my locker and use it before and after. It's not greasy and it doesn't smell like anything, which matters when you're in a truck with five other people.
Nobody schedules a recovery day around a call. The load is unpredictable and it doesn't care what your body did yesterday.
Three of the guys on my shift use it now. That happened without me saying much — they just watched me use it and asked.
